Hockey

Ulster Hockey hosted an Under 21 International Test Series against Scotland on Monday 3rd March and Tuesday 4th March 2015 at Shaw’s Bridge. As part of this series, the Prep team were offered the opportunity to take part in a training session with the squads, and also meet and greet the team captain, manager, coach and players.

This was a tremendous opportunity which we were privileged to be a part of. We learnt a great amount about attacking, goalkeeping and teamwork. We also participated in a penalty runs competition, received ‘top tips’ from each of the players and were given free tickets for the Ulster vs. Scotland games. Kirsty Hill (the team captain) told us that she saw some "budding future Ulster stars in the making" among us. What a compliment and such an enjoyable experience!
