International Action Group 2024-2025
The IAG aims to recognise and celebrate cultural diversity. IAG celebrate the rich and diverse heritage represented in our school and local community. They organise and welcome multicultural visitors into school and develop global learning partnerships through establishing and enjoying regular contact with students and adults living in different countries.
Our Action Groups were very busy this first term, to help fundraise money for new tablet technology.
They have carried out the following roles:
ECO & iTeam – To design posters for around school to promote the Fun Run
CAG & IAG: To design the sponsorship form for the Fun Run
Fairtrade Team & SNAG: To approach a local business to sponsor the event with a drink and snack. Pupils posted requests on Seesaw and were successful in getting a bottle of water and a packet of crisps per pupil.
School Council & Welcome: To design a flyer for Seesaw to promote the Fun Run.
The whole event was a huge success and raised more than £3500. We have since purchased 35 new tablets, cases and charging stations!
