Come fly with me...

We may not have been able to jet off to sunny skies lately, but Prep pupils enjoyed finding out about the role of a pilot and learning more about flight patterns, the impact of weather and aircraft design when Prep parent and TUI pilot, Mr McMaster led a series of workshops in each class. The younger girls transformed their classroom into an aircraft layout so they could practice being passengers, cabin crew and the pilot, whilst other classes created their own destinations and flight plans. Key Stage 2 pupils had a go at designing their own aircraft, then tested their paper planes to see which was the most aerodynamic. The highlight though, was trying on the prop pilot’s hat!
