Celebrating International Women's Day

The Prep School celebrated International Women’s Day with a special assembly led by Mrs Hughes-Jennett and Sarah Baddeley from "We Are Just Kids". Our assembly focused on the developing role of women in key areas of society and recognised some of those who are at the top of their careers in science, sport and public service roles. Girls had the opportunity to reflect on the opportunities afforded to them through education and watched an inspiring video of a young lady whose family had made considerable sacrifices to provide her with the opportunity of following her dream career. It was a timely reminder that we should be thankful for the openings available us in society and gave inspiration for our young leaders of the future to aspire towards being the very best they can be in whichever role they chose to pursue.
