Belfast Area Netball Champions 2015!!!!

Congratulations to the Prep Netball Team who won their section of the Belfast Primary School Finals on Friday 17th April! The girls spent the first 2 hours working hard as officials. They were reliable time keepers, scorers and ball girls and I received lots of compliments from spectators, umpires and teachers from other schools about how well-mannered and helpful we were!

We played 4 teams (St John the Baptist, Stranmillis, St Kierans and St Josephs) and finished top of our section... undefeated! We then progressed to the knockout stages where we won the semi-final against St Josephs (4-1). Finally, we maintained our undefeated record as we were victorious in the final against Stranmillis (3-0).

I would like to thank all the girls for their dedication and hard work throughout the year. I am very proud of you all! A special thank you also goes to Mr Beattie for driving us to each and every fixture and to the parents for your support and encouragement.
