Ulster Minor Schools Swimming Championships

Congratulations to the girls who competed in the Ulster minor schools swimming championships which were held in Ballymena Leisure Centre on 11th October 2014.

This was a very large gala with over 120 primary schools entering teams. Our pupils performed with excellence many experiencing their first gala and for others achieving personal bests.

Our Prep 5 relay team of Evie McGale, Amy Fogarty, Kate Donnelly, Rachel Cheevers and Beatrice Toogood were placed second in the freestyle relay.  Special mention must go to Clara Wilson who made the Ulster final in the Butterfly.

Our Prep 7 relay of Ella Ross, Molly McGuire, Lauren Patterson, Clara Wilson and Emilea Azuara Lois were placed third in the freestyle relay.

Overall this was a very successful event for prep where we certainly made our name known in the swimming world.
